Teeth Whitening Baldock

What is
teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment to whiten your teeth through professional  bleaching.

We do not recommend buying DIY/ online teeth whitening kits as the chemicals that are used can cause permanent damage to your teeth. We have often had to repair the damage that has been caused by online teeth whitening kits.

Our dentists can advise you on which product to use depending on your teeth.

TREATMENT PROCESS

Three dental appointments are required to ensure we can get the results you desire.
There is hardly any pain involved and you should see immediate results.

STEP BY STEP

Visit One

Your first visit will require checking your teeth and to ensure you are a good candidate for teeth whitening.

Once your dentist has checked your teeth, then they will make a dental impression of your teeth. This is used to make whitening trays which are custom made.

Visit two

Once your custom made whitening trays are made, you will have them fitted. You will take these trays home and be required to wear them for 14 nights.

Visit three

Your dentist will review your treatment and ensure you are happy with the results.

Frequently asked questions

There are many reasons why you should have teeth whitening professionally done:

1. We are medically trained and experts in teeth related matters
2. We use approved products which are safe on your teeth and do not cause you harm
3. We can offer you after care should you get any effects or need any further advice

Buying online means you will not know exactly what is in the product, whether the product you are using is safe for your teeth or will cause sensitivity or worse burns and you will not have the expertise around to ensure that this product is right for your teeth. Why waste your money online? Do it right the first time around with one of our highly experienced dentists.

This depends on how you look after your teeth, what foods and drinks you have regularly e.g. tea, coffee, red wine etc. We recommend having it done once a year as dental enamel can be damaged if too much bleaching agents is used.

Having a regular hygienist appointment can prolong the whiteness of your teeth. We recommend coming in to see your hygienist, every 6 months.
