TREATMENT PROCESS

At Mews House Dental, we use dentists who have years of experience in root canal treatment.
Our highly experienced dentists conduct all the root canal treatments for our patients.
It will be completed in two dental visits and dental anaesthetic will be needed.

STEP BY STEP

Step One

At your first dental visit, Your dentist will take an X-ray of your tooth to see how far the infection has spread, which tooth needs treating and how it is affecting your other teeth. They will also go through your medical history.

Step two

At your second visit, our dentists will numb the area with a dental anaesthetic injection.

Once your mouth is numb, they will cover your mouth (except the tooth being worked on). This is called a dental dam and is used to stop the spread of infections.

Step three

Our dentists will at this stage, make a small hole in the tooth and clean out the infected area.

Once the area is clean, your dentist will fill and seal it. It is at this stage that your dentist will put a permanent filling on your tooth.
